Southern Ontario has no shortage of cannabis retailers. Since legalization in 2018, the number of licensed dispensaries and online stores serving the region has grown significantly — and with more options available than ever, choosing where to spend your money is a genuine decision.
At The Purple Leaf, we don’t take customer trust for granted. We’ve built it over years of consistent service, honest pricing, and a genuine commitment to putting the right product in the hands of every customer who reaches out to us. Here are the five reasons thousands of Southern Ontario cannabis buyers keep coming back.
1. A Product Selection That Covers Everything
The most common complaint we hear from customers who’ve shopped elsewhere before finding us is the same: limited selection. A dispensary with ten flower strains and a handful of gummies is fine for casual buyers — but for anyone who has specific needs, a preferred consumption method, or a genuine interest in exploring the full range of what legal cannabis offers, a thin menu is a significant problem.
The Purple Leaf carries one of the most comprehensive cannabis menus available from any online retailer serving Southern Ontario. Our full product range covers every major category in the legal Canadian market.
Our flower menu runs from budget AA grade through to premium AAAA craft, with indica, sativa, and hybrid strains always in stock and regularly refreshed with new arrivals. Our concentrates section carries shatter, live resin, hash rosin, distillate, crumble, and traditional hash — one of the most complete concentrate menus available from any Ontario online retailer. Our edibles range goes well beyond basic gummies, covering chocolate, baked goods, drinks, powders, and capsules. Our vapes and cartridges section carries disposable pens and 510-thread cartridges from verified producers. Our CBD range covers oils, topicals, and capsules for non-psychoactive use. And our gear and accessories section covers everything you need to enjoy your cannabis properly.
One store. Every category. No gaps.
2. Pricing That Respects Your Budget
Legal cannabis should be accessible — not a luxury reserved for buyers who can afford premium prices. This has been a core principle at The Purple Leaf since we opened, and it shapes every pricing decision we make.
Our budget ounce program is one of the most popular offerings in Southern Ontario for good reason. Starting at just $20 and scaling up to $80 for a full ounce, it consistently delivers more value per gram than anything else available from a licensed Ontario retailer at the same price point. These deals move fast and change regularly — checking the site before every order is worth doing.
Beyond budget ounces, we run weekly promotions across all product categories, offer meaningful bulk pricing for customers who stock up, and keep our base prices competitive with any retailer serving the Ontario market. New customers who subscribe to our newsletter receive a 10% discount code — use PRIMETIME at checkout on your first order.
The OCS exists. Plenty of other licensed retailers exist. Customers who price-compare consistently and come back to The Purple Leaf are telling us something — and we take that seriously.
3. Service From People Who Actually Know Cannabis
There is a meaningful difference between a cannabis retailer staffed by people who know their products and one staffed by people who can process your order. We are the former.
Every member of The Purple Leaf team is genuinely knowledgeable about the products on our menu — the strains, the terpene profiles, the appropriate use cases, the differences between product types, and the honest answers to the questions new buyers are often too embarrassed to ask. We’ve helped first-time buyers figure out a starting dose for edibles. We’ve helped experienced concentrate users identify the right live resin for a specific flavour preference. We’ve helped medical cannabis patients narrow down the right CBD-dominant strain for daytime pain management without impairment.
This kind of support is available to every customer, every day. Call us at 519-777-9498 or email info@thepurpleleaf.ca — our team is reachable Monday to Friday between 9 AM and 8 PM EST. If you have a question before you buy, we want to hear it.
Here’s what our customers say about the experience:

4. Convenience That Matches How People Actually Shop
The most convenient cannabis retailer in Southern Ontario is not the one closest to your house. It’s the one open when you need it, stocked with what you want, that gets your order to you reliably without making the process complicated.
The Purple Leaf is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM EST. Our online store never closes. Browse at 11 PM on a Sunday, place your order, and it will be processed and shipped the next business day.
Local customers in the London, Ontario area benefit from our local delivery service — no need to leave the house, no minimum purchase required beyond standard shipping thresholds, orders arriving discreetly in plain unmarked packaging at your door.
For customers across Southern Ontario and Canada-wide, we ship via Canada Post to every province and territory in the country. Most Ontario orders arrive within 2–4 business days of processing. All packages are discreetly packaged with no external branding indicating the contents. Your privacy is protected on every single order.
The checkout process takes less than five minutes. Create an account, verify your age, browse the menu, add to cart, check out. That’s it. No confusing interfaces, no hidden fees revealed at the last step, no unnecessary friction between you and your order.
5. A Track Record Built Over Years — Not Months
Trust is not something you declare. It’s something you earn through consistent performance over time, and it shows up in the reviews customers leave and the fact that they keep coming back.
The Purple Leaf has been serving cannabis buyers across Southern Ontario since legalization. In that time, we’ve built a loyal customer base that spans London, Windsor, Kitchener, Hamilton, and well beyond — customers who started shopping with us in 2018 and are still ordering today. That kind of retention doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when a business consistently does what it says it will do.
Our track record shows up in a few specific ways that are worth naming.
Product quality consistency. We source from verified producers and turn over our inventory regularly to ensure freshness. The product you receive matches what the listing describes — accurate THC percentages, accurate strain classification, quality that reflects the grade you paid for.
Shipping reliability. We process orders promptly, ship via Canada Post with tracking on every order, and communicate proactively about any delays. If something goes wrong — a damaged product, a shipping issue — we make it right. Full stop.
Legal compliance. Every product on our menu is Health Canada tested and compliant. Age verification is taken seriously on every order. We operate entirely within the legal framework that protects both our customers and the integrity of the licensed cannabis market.
Pricing transparency. The price you see on the product listing is the price you pay, plus clearly displayed shipping costs at checkout. There are no surprise fees, no last-minute additions, no bait-and-switch.
This is what trust looks like in practice — and it’s what we’ve been building with Southern Ontario cannabis buyers since day one.
