Quick answer: You don’t need to wait for a store to open. The Purple Leaf takes orders online at any time, and weekday orders (Monday to Friday) placed and paid for before noon (12:00 PM EST) are delivered the same day. Orders after noon are typically delivered the next day, and we ship Canada-wide (free over $100). You must be 19 or older to order.
London, Ontario has seen significant growth in licensed cannabis retail since legalization in 2018. You’ll find a mix of physical storefronts and online retailers serving the city and surrounding areas like Lambeth, Byron, Masonville, and East London.
The most important thing to understand: not all dispensaries are created equal. Hours vary widely, product selection ranges from limited to extensive, and pricing can differ dramatically from one retailer to the next. Knowing your options before you shop saves you time and money.

What to Look for in a London, Ontario Dispensary
Whether you’re walking into a storefront or ordering online, here’s what separates a good dispensary from a great one.
Consistent, Extended Hours
Many dispensaries in London close as early as 6 PM on weekdays. The Purple Leaf is open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 8 PM EST, and the online store takes orders any time, so you can shop on your schedule.
A Wide, Well-Stocked Product Menu
A dispensary worth visiting carries more than just flower. Look for a retailer that stocks flower across indica, sativa, and hybrid strains in multiple quality grades; edibles including gummies, chocolate, baked goods, drinks, and capsules; concentrates like shatter, live resin, hash rosin, and distillate; vapes and cartridges; CBD products for non-psychoactive relief; pre-rolls for convenience; and gear and accessories like grinders, bongs, papers, and dab rigs.
Fair, Transparent Pricing
Pricing in the legal cannabis market varies considerably. Look for dispensaries that display prices clearly online, offer regular deals, and don’t hide fees at checkout. The Purple Leaf runs weekly promotions including budget ounce deals — one of the best value offers available to London cannabis buyers.
Knowledgeable Staff
A good dispensary team doesn’t just process your order — they help you find the right product for your needs. Whether you’re managing pain, looking for better sleep, or simply want to unwind after a long week, product knowledge matters. Our team at The Purple Leaf is always available by phone or email to answer your questions before you buy.
Verified Customer Reviews
Before committing to a dispensary, check their reviews on Google and Weedmaps. Consistent positive feedback about product quality, service, and reliability is a strong signal you’re in the right place.

What Products Can You Pick Up From a Dispensary in London, Ontario?
Legal cannabis retail has expanded well beyond flower. Here’s what you can expect to find at a well-stocked London dispensary like The Purple Leaf.
Flower
Still the most popular category. We carry indica, sativa, and hybrid strains in quality grades from AA to AAAA. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing evening indica or an energizing daytime sativa, we keep a wide selection in stock.
Edibles
A great option if you prefer not to smoke or vape. Our edibles menu includes THC gummies and candy, chocolate and baked goods, cannabis-infused drinks and powders, and capsules for precise dosing. If you’re new to edibles, start with a low dose of 2.5–5 mg THC and give it at least 90 minutes to take effect.
Vapes and E-Cigarettes
One of the fastest-growing categories in Canadian cannabis retail. We carry disposable vape pens, refillable 510-thread cartridges, and vaporizer accessories — all authentic, lab-tested products.
Concentrates
For experienced users looking for higher potency. Our concentrates selection includes shatter, live resin, hash rosin, distillate, crumble, and traditional hash.
CBD
Want the wellness benefits without the high? Our CBD range includes oils, topicals, balms, capsules, and edibles — popular for inflammation, sleep, and everyday stress relief.
Pre-Rolls and Moon Rockets
Ready-to-smoke pre-rolls and our signature Moon Rockets are available for customers who want a convenient, no-prep option.
Is It Safe to Buy Cannabis Online Instead of In-Store?
Absolutely. Buying from a licensed online retailer like The Purple Leaf is just as safe — and in many ways more convenient — than visiting a physical dispensary. Every product is sourced from verified producers, tested for potency and contaminants, and shipped in discreet, tamper-evident packaging. Your personal information is protected, and all transactions are secure.
The key is making sure you’re buying from a licensed retailer. Unlicensed online sellers still operate in Canada and offer no such guarantees on product safety or legality.
